Brad Thomas

Before founding his own firm, Brad was a senior designer in the office of Richard Saul Wurman (TED Conference Founder); an independent art director in the promotion of a wide range of lifestyle brands; designer with the St. Louis office of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum; and a design professor at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.

Over the past twenty five years his consulting practice based in San Francisco has focused on environmental graphics collaborating with some of the best architectural firms in the United States. Notable projects with Esherick Homsey Dodge & Davis include the renovation of the Vasche Library on CSU Stanislaus Campus, KQED’s re-outfitted offices in San Francisco, and currently in-progress the American Institute of Architects national headquarters in Washington D.C.

His additional collaborative works with other local architectural firms includes: UC Berkeley Data Science Center with Gensler; San Francisco Art Institute at Fort Mason with Leddy Maytum Stacy; Moffett Federal Airfield dirigible hanger reuse program with Page & Turnbull; and numerous projects over the past 25 years with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill including the new Long Beach Main Library dedicated to Billy Jean King.
